Dr. Montgomery is among the most accomplished and well-regarded multi-disciplinary dentists in the South Orange County area. He is diligent in his pursuit to stay current in providing the profession’s leading dental care procedures while utilizing state-of-the-art technology, supplies and equipment. He has been teaching as an Assistant Professor and course director for the Department of Dental Public Health at the USC School of Dentistry. Dr. Montgomery has served for 31 consecutive years in this capacity. He feels this has been indispensible in keeping at the forefront of the profession
Dr. Montgomery has been a life-long resident of Orange County, grew up in Costa Mesa and established his current practice more than 28 years ago. He is a graduate of The University of Redlands, majoring in Biology with a minor in Psychology and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. After graduation, he returned to Orange County to build a practice in the Laguna Niguel/Dana Point area. He chose this area for the growing community, ocean based lifestyle and the large number of growing families.
Dr. Montgomery provides quality dentistry for his patients, providing specific programs for senior patients, concierge treatment, and for those patients requiring more comforting during dentistry. He is widely recognized for his thorough, gentle, and relationship based care of patients of all ages.
Dr. Mark Montgomery is a member of Rotary International and the USC Dental School, where he facilitates new dental professionals learning quality technique and important relationship building skills. He teaches behaviors that lead towards trusting, long-term relationships between patient and caregiver.
Dr. Montgomery is married and has six children. He enjoys watersports, including scuba diving and supports local youth sports in the Laguna Niguel/Dana Point communities.
